Outreach to Greater Birmingham Community
The Birmingham Chamber Music Society is the oldest continually operating music organization In Birmingham, Alabama, bringing world class chamber music to Birmingham since 1933. The Birmingham Chamber Music Society has a long history of outreach for PK-12 music education by providing mini-concerts to local schools. Through its partnership with Samford University, the Birmingham Chamber Music Society broadens its outreach at the higher-education level by providing ensembles who lead master classes for students in the Department of Music at Samford. The Birmingham Chamber Music Society receives an enthusiastic response to our outreach from participating schools. Outreach events are free and open to the public.
