Since 2018 Gradient Dance Theater and Community has been providing a variety of classes to the public at little or no cost. We strive to curate a roster of teachers, performers, and choreographers that support the training and creative desires of the Birmingham Alabama area. While we predominantly serve adults we believe in cultivating and valuing the creative voices of our whole community. We currently hold weekly open classes in a variety of styles that range from classical ballet to majorette style training. Our teachers integrate their outside passions of science, history, anatomy, and music into their teaching practices to give a multi dimensional approach to teaching dance. We also provide a variety of cross training techniques including Pilates, Gyrokinesis®, and Progressing Ballet Technique. Providing access to relatable dance styles and cross training is our mission and we welcome discussions to collaborate and elevate voices in our community.
