Magic City Performing Arts (MCPA) offers school performances of classic ballets twice a year. Schools of all ages are encouraged to participate as a field trip opportunity. Class programs and reading material can be aligned to add academic value to the field trip. Community ballet performances offered by MCPA include The Magic City Nutcracker and Don Quixote, both based on classic novels.
For select public schools, MCPA offers a ballet class to students in 3rd – 5th grade. This program occurs either during club hours or as part of an after school program.
